Responsibilities:
- We are currently seeking professionals to hitch the Regulatory Compliance Monitoring Team (RCMT).
- Sitting within the second line of defense, RCMT provides ongoing, periodic monitoring of worldwide and regional compliance policies & procedures in addition as thematic risk areas identified during period risk assessment exercises.
- RCMT is accountable for providing independent monitoring activities across FTs investment advisers and associated service providers globally. - Responsible for supporting the development, execution, and reporting on monitoring reviews.
- This role requires excellent relationship-building skills as RCMT has a strong partnership with regulated Compliance Officers globally as well as management in first and third line of defense.

Responsibilities:
- To conduct second line compliance reviews as per the annual monitoring & testing plan.
- To test the adequacy of controls in place within the business and to identify potential and actual breaches.
- Prepare reports to inform key stakeholders of the outcome of monitoring and review work, including rating findings and assigning owners/actions.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of RCMTs monitoring approaches.
- Ensure local Compliance monitoring activities are considered and leveraged, where possible, for relevant Global reviews.
- Under supervision, answerable for planning and executing reviews within the worldwide organization, testing controls, documenting working papers and drafting reports.
- Review Planning and Execution Assisting with planning and executing reviews and special projects, including meeting with Compliance Officers and business unit management, documenting the control environment, documenting control weaknesses , regulatory risks, and observations/recommendations.
- Review finalization Finalizing reviews, including participating in exit meetings and drafting review reports.
- Managing Relationships Assisting with meeting and interacting with key stakeholders including Compliance Officers, Business Unit management and other assurance teams PRN.
- Developing Analytics – as needed for every review developing data analytics to assist sampling or to support results of testing.
Qualifications:
- Required to hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Auditing and/or accounting course work preferred.
- 0 to 1 years auditing experience
- Preferred to carry a professional certification/designation in auditing, security, or accounting-related areas, (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA, CFIRS/CTA, and CISA) or to own substantially completed the requirements for such a designation while actively pursuing the completion of such a designation.
- Good experience of monitoring and testing during a second line of defense in financial services
- Good understanding and knowledge of regulations per global asset management business. Knowledge folks / EU / APAC regulatory environment may be a bonus.
- Professional qualification (CA(Inter), MBA).
- Understanding and interest within the activities of asset management business lines and associated compliance risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the power to speak effectively the least bit levels and interact with senior FT staff within business units.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in Compliance Monitoring, Internal Audit reviews is extremely desirable.
